We have no homework over the March break but students will be bringing home their literacy binder, writers journal and their frienship book.
Writers journal is an ongoing project that doesn't take vacation, we should always be thinking about writing. Many published authors carry journals and find them very usefull. Your childs journal should contain ideas, fun words, million dollar words and phrases. It may also have pictures, stories and poetry.

The following is a list of the quick writes we've done since Sept. A Quick write is a piece of writing that is done after a reading or discussion. Each quick write should be at least a paragraph or 2 in length. A quick write is a way to get information down quickly it should be double spaced so there is room for revision. There should be 30 quick writes in your childs binder.
