Homework
We were unable to start anything new today so there will be no new homework with the exception of problem of the day. It was a good day for some students to play catch - up. I am asking everyone to bring home their cursive writing and problem of the day scribbler to show to someone. All cursive writing pages should be completed and there should be 38 problems of the day completed since we came back in January.

Homework
It's a long week-end so we won't be having much homework. We have several things we've been having difficulty completeing because of all the interuptions we've had the past few months and don't want them lingering on much longer.
Cursive Writing - some students have work in their duo-tangs that should already be done, if it's not it's to be finished.
Group M - finish final copy of recount this also should be done, we had 7 lessons with this piece of writing and it should have gone home at least that many times for revision work so it should be a very good piece of writing by now.
Group W - should be ready to present their project. They were told that some work may need to be done at home so to do their project in a format they could work from home with. If your child started their project on SMART Notebook and you'd like to download the software onto your computer you can do so at http://smarttech.co . Click on download software in the quick links box then click on SMART Notebook software and follow the instructions.
Literature Circles - Horrible Harry Takes the Cake its been a while since we've worked on this so students were advised to re-read the first 24 pages then read ch. 4 and prepare role to share with the group
- Lazy Bones Jones - Read Ch.6 & prepare role to share with group
Rural Communities/Large Cities - Be prepared to present project & study for spelling/definition test.
